I decided to clean our shower today, that's one of the "moving out" guidelines the landlords have. I mean really, really clean it...yuck....
Each individual tile/grout has to be scrubbed to death. I was in there with the window wide open trying to let the fumes escape but I am still feeling light headed at this moment. I have only done about a 1/4 of the shower and I had to stop. It amazes me, I thought I was a really clean person and I thought I kept my home pretty clean. Once I took down all the pictures, removed the decorative shower curtain and all signs of someone really living there I was in amazement. I hope no one think differently of me posting this, but ewww....I don't think I need to really go into detail here, we all know what yucky tile/grout looks like. It wasn't that bad all over, but certain spots look like that had never been cleaned in the last year. I think I will let Ray do the ceilings and the tops of the shower...hehehe..I love you honey!
Well, to make matters worse, in the middle of me cleaning Isabelle picks up an old toothbrush that I was using to scrub grout and she puts It in her mouth, chemicals and all...to all of you who know me, then you know I am NOT good in stressful situations....
I freak out, run and call poison control...THANKFULLY Izzy is fine, the lady said it just may irritate her mouth. I can handle that. Phew.....close one...
Well the shower is somewhat clean, and will get there...we have 6 days left before our Big Move!

To Parents from their Children
Author: Mildred Neville
I know quite well that I ought not to have
all that I ask for. I'm only testing you.
DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE FIRM WITH ME
I prefer it. It makes me feel more secure.
DON'T LET ME FORM BAD HABITS
I have to rely on you to detect them in early stages.
DON'T MAKE ME FEEL SMALLER THAN I AM
It makes me feel stupidly “big”.
DON'T CORRECT ME IN FRONT OF PEOPLE IF YOU CAN HELP IT
I'll take much more notice if you talk quietly with me in private.
DON'T MAKE ME FEEL THAT MY MISTAKES ARE SINS
It upsets my sense of values.
DON'T BE TOO UPSET WHEN I SAY “I HATE YOU”
It isn't you that I hate but your power to thwart me.
DON'T PROTECT ME FROM CONSEQUENCES
I need to learn the painful way sometimes.
DON'T TAKE TOO MUCH NOTICE OF MY SMALL AILMENTS
I am quite capable of trading on them.
DON'T FORGET HOW QUICKLY I AM GROWING UP
It must be very difficult for you to keep pace with me, but please do try.
DON'T MAKE RASH PROMISES
Remember that I feel badly let down when promises are broken.
DON'T FORGET THAT I CAN'T EXPLAIN
MYSELF AS WELL AS I WOULD LIKE
This is why I am not always accurate.
DON'T TAX MY HONESTY TOO MUCH
I am easily frightened into telling lies.
DON'T BE INCONSISTENT
That completely confuses me and makes me lose faith in you.
DON'T PUT ME OFF WHEN I ASK QUESTIONS
If you do you will find that I stop asking and seek my information elsewhere.
DON'T TELL ME MY FEARS ARE SILLY
They are terribly real and you can do much
to reassure me if you try to understand.
DON'T EVER SUGGEST THAT YOU ARE PERFECT OR INFALLIBLE
It gives me too great a shock when I discover that you are neither.
DON'T EVER THINK THAT IT IS BENEATH
YOUR DIGNITY TO APOLOGIZE TO ME
An honest apology makes me feel surprisingly warm towards you.
DON'T FORGET THAT I LOVE EXPERIMENTALLY
I couldn't get on without it, so please put up with it.
DON'T NAG
If you do I shall have to protect myself by appearing deaf.
DON'T FORGET THAT I CAN'T THRIVE
WITHOUT LOTS OF UNDERSTANDING & LOVE
But I don't need to tell you that, do I?

Little Helpers
I have been trying to stay on track the last few weeks and get control of our laundry since we are moving so soon. I am doing laundry none stop now, it's amazing how much we create every single day!!
I have slacked off on putting the clothes away yesterday and today so I guess this serves me right.
My kiddos decided to be Little helpers tonight and unfolded all my piles of laundry.
Look at those faces :)

Anheuser Bush
Last week we took the kids to the Anheuser Busch plant in Merrimack Nh, it is a great place to go and take a tour if you have the time or check out the Clydesdale's. The best thing is, this place is free to go!! Check it out online at (http://www.budweisertours.com/toursMER.htm)
They have Beautiful grounds and the horses are amazing to look at. This year they had two 2,300 lb horses!!This horse was something to look at, it's legs and feet wore HUGE. While we were there the lady in the horse stable told me they had 21 horses on the lot, although the viewing stable only had about 10 of them. I learned a lot about the horses and Garrett thought they were really cool. Isabelle kept telling me she was scared, I guess to an almost 20 month old they are Big and scary. The best time to view them while they are being groomed is between 11am-12pm, I am hoping we can make the trip one more time to see them being groomed before we move.

Stress is not what I do best...

The house we are moving into in Ky is a MAJOR work in progress, it was disgusting let me tell you. I think the woman and her son that lived there for the past 9 years never cleaned anything once. I am not good with germs or gross things, so the fact that I have seen what this house looked like and still looks looks like is freaking me out. I know there is a timeline fore everything, but I will have to live there. My family and I will have to use the yucky shower and toilet that is currently in the only bathroom until the master suit and bathroom is built on the back of the house. I am not happy with the way the bathroom is and I do not want to use the facilities in it. Yes, I know I am bitching here, but I am very stressed at the moment. This is not my ideal house, but it is where we will be living for the next few years. Financially we are not in the situation to buy our own home yet, I wish I was but that is a little ways down the road for us. I know every home has a past, this one is older and has seen a lot I am sure...I actually don't want to know...
I am trying to be happy with the fact that we will have a place to live, some people I know are not that lucky. The problem is I have no control over anything, and believe me as much as I hate to admit it I like to be in control of everything ( I know you are reading this Ray and smiling...hahaha) Yes, your wife just admitted to that, take note because you probably won't hear it again.
I just pray that when I get there I won't want to run out crying, I get overly emotional in these stressful situations, I want everything to go smoothly and I want to feel like it is our new home.

Red Sox catch up with the Tamp Bay Rays
I don't know how they did it, but they did! The Red Sox came back and our now tied 3-3 with the Tampa Bay Rays, the game tonight on TBS will determine who goes on to play in the World Series. Last year the Red Sox won the WS and I know my Hubby and I would like to see that happen again.
We are HUGE Red Sox fans here and have been to several games over the last 2 years! Over the summer we were able to take Izzy to her first game. She was a very good girl and we all had a great time.
I am crossing my fingers that they pull it off tonight!! Go Red Sox!!!

New England is Beautiful in the Fall

My husband is a soccer referee, so we have had a great privilege of driving all over New England going to different soccer games. Today we were up bright and early, we had to leave our house by 8:30 to make the hour long trip to Wilton, NH. Our first game was at 10am and it was freezing cold. When we left the house this morning there was frost all over the ground and our car windows...brrrr...
I mostly stayed in the car with the kiddos for the first game, we listened to stories on tape and the kids snacked on breakfast for awhile. The 2nd game was right down the road at a very nice prep school (boarding school). They had a Beautiful campus and I was able to take some really nice pictures of the kids playing in the leaves, of course my kiddos are Beautiful so it's not that hard to get some really great shots of them. It was a pretty stress free Saturday though, and that's all I can ask for!
